See how you come across, name what you feel, stay steady under pressure and lead people well, using the parts of emotional intelligence that hold up in the research.
Smart, capable people still stall at work over how they handle people and pressure: they misread the room, react badly in a hard meeting, or never hear how they come across.
Most writing on emotional intelligence oversells it. It does not predict success better than IQ, and the online quizzes mostly measure how people see themselves. What holds up is narrower and more useful: a handful of skills that move with practice and feedback, and that matter most in work full of other people's emotions.
This course teaches those skills one at a time and makes you use them. You find out how you come across from people who will tell you, name your feelings precisely enough to pick the right response, pause before the reply you would regret, set the tone of a room on purpose, and spot the same skills being used to manipulate. Then you run one twelve-week practice cycle on your weakest area.
Managers: whose results now run through other people.
Founders: leading a team for the first time.
Client-facing professionals: who need to read and steer a room in real time.
