AI can quietly make you worse at the work you care about. Learn to use it for leverage without letting your own judgment and skill atrophy.
AI makes you faster at the work you hand it. Hand it the wrong work, and it slowly leaves you worse at the parts of the job that made you good.
Every task you give a model is practice you skip. For recaps and boilerplate that costs nothing. For the strategy memo, the hard call or the close read of a contract, it costs the judgment you need to tell when the output is wrong. In one trial, students who practised maths with a plain chatbot scored 17 percent lower on the exam they then took without it, while students whose chatbot gave hints instead of answers did as well as those who never had AI.
This course gives you the habits that keep the thinking yours while you keep the speed: a one-question test before you delegate, a way to sort volume work from the reps that build you, a writing order where you draft and AI critiques, a check for confident answers, a test for what you really know, and one small rep a week.
You walk away with a sorted list of what you hand over and what you keep, a critique prompt you can reuse, and your first weekly rep on the calendar.
Knowledge workers: write, code or analyse every day and feel their edge dulling the more they delegate.
Founders and operators: want AI's speed without losing the hands-on judgment their decisions rest on.
Students and early-career professionals: want to build real competence first and use AI to extend it.
